In November, I heard the news about an exciting new launch from Dolly Bow Bow (an online boutique, founded by jewellery designer Kate Murnane). Kate announced on her youtube channel that she were to introduce The Dolly Box. She explained that this would be a surprise box containing a number of new and exclusive pieces of jewellery taken from the Dolly Bow Bow range. Now, I was very excited to hear this, as I have been a fan of Kate's and Dolly Bow Bow jewellery for quite some time now and have always received great service from purchasing products from her online site in the past. I just LOVE all of the statement necklaces and was pleased to hear that The Dolly Box would include one of these, along with four more dainty pieces.
As these boxes were said to be Limited Edition, I bet you can imagine how I felt when I was lucky enough to receive The Dolly Box as a gift for Christmas! All of the jewellery was beautifully packaged inside a black rectangular box adorned with a cute pale pink bow. The four smaller jewellery pieces each came in their own little pink, velvet pouch, which I thought was wonderful!
In this box I received, as promised, one statement necklace, which was instantly my favourite. I found it wasn't too big and chunky, like some statement pieces can be, but was just right. I loved the fact that it was such a pretty necklace, in a neutral colour so that it could be worn with anything!
Also included was, one rose gold ring, one pair of silver bow earrings, a rose gold necklace (that matched the ring perfectly) and one silver chain necklace which had a gold, silver and rose gold charm. Each piece was absolutely stunning and even though this box was released in December, I believe the majority, if not ALL these pieces can be worn at any time of year and not just in the winter.
The box also included a card from Kate.
Unfortunetly, this Dolly Box is now sold out, but check out the other items on the Dolly Bow Bow site, as I am sure there will be plenty of items you'll fall in love with!
